This Privacy Policy describes how Dine With Celebrity Pvt Ltd ("DWC", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our website at dinewithcelebrity.com and related services.

• Account information: Full name, email address, mobile number, city, and state when you register.
• Profile information: Movie industry preferences, interests, and dining preferences you voluntarily provide.
• Payment information: Transaction details processed via Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details — these are handled entirely by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
• Usage data: Pages visited, vouchers viewed and redeemed, events attended, and activity timestamps.
• Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, and operating system for security and analytics purposes.
• Communications: Messages or enquiries you send to us via email or contact forms.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your DWC membership account.
• To process payments and manage your membership tier and expiry.
• To personalise vouchers, event recommendations, and partner restaurants based on your city and preferences.
• To send you membership updates, event notifications, and service communications via email.
• To calculate and credit referral points and rewards.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats.
• To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Razorpay (payments), Resend (transactional email). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.
• Partner restaurants: We share only your DWC member ID and redemption details with partner restaurants when you redeem a voucher — never your email or phone number.
• Legal requirements: If required by a court order, government authority, or applicable Indian law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal and audit purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing legal@dinewithcelebrity.com. Payment transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies for authentication (provided by Supabase Auth) and minimal analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to sign in.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, HMAC-SHA256 payment verification, JWT-based authentication, and row-level security on our database. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.
